Deliveries Organiser
Receive the papers in the morning – approx 5-30am start – cut the bundles and put the rounds in order for our deliverers. Round sheets will have been printed the day before in preparation.
Some computer use is required – not to any complex standard that’s for sure, just to book our deliveries in – 10 minutes max.
Sorting the rounds out for the guys to come in and take out for delivery. Probably an hour to get all the rounds ready.
Initially we need a couple out of Monday – Thursday mornings covered, plus we will need one Sunday per month and help during holiday periods.
It’s important that the individual has a ‘can do’ approach. Our in-bound deliveries can be varied depending on traffic, conditions and a number of other factors. It’s approx. 2 ½ -3 ½ hours each morning. The job isn’t that taxing, it does require some organisational and practical skills – there is some light lifting involved – nothing more than 12kg and very little of that. Driving and a car would be desirable, but only to help out on the odd occasion, a car is not necessary for the role.
Full training will be given and assistance is there every day also.
Delivery Driver
Monday and Tuesday – 6am start – approximately 2 hours per day. We would like the person to be flexible and help us when required with holiday cover for your team-mates as they will cover you also.
This is a delivery role in and around Dunmow, Little Easton, High Roding and Barnston.
You’d need to be fairly fit, have your own car and be very, very reliable.
